    • It turns out I already laid out what I broadly hope to see at Apple's WWDC event next week two months ago. I've got nothing else worth writing about this week, though I have been wondering how the PlayStation 4 versions of Horizon: Forbidden West, God of War: Ragnarok, and Gran Tourismo 7 will work. Musings aside, I'll check in on how close (read: far) I was to reality with my wishlist next week after WWDC.

    Instead, for this week, I made some visual adjustments to the site that have been bugging me for the last month.

    First, video embeds look sensible now. I hadn't been taking advantage of video embeds until recently and never wrote any CSS against them. comparison of unstyled video embeds to newer, more considered centered styling

    Additionally, videos were broken on mobile; their width could overflow their parent (and the viewport). That's been fixed too. comparison of previous broken mobile video styles to fixed styling that doesn't overflow

    After that I made some minor adjustments to spacing above blockquotes... comparison of previous blockquote spacing to new blockquote spacing with tighter top margin

    ...and beneath lists. comparison of previous list spacing to new list spacing with larger bottom margin

    Overall, it's minor tweaks and details that I kept putting off. Just like I keep putting off adding pagination, more varied post types, cover images for the list view, clickable tags along with a tag index, and more. Maybe the next time my muse abandons me.
